Photoshop

Something I have been trying out on Photoshop recently are photo manipulations. What this is is to basically create a scene out of scratch. So you think of an idea, and then gather up all the stock pictures that you are planning on using. Once you do that you make the scene that you want. These are 2 of the ones ive made so far, they are just practice ones as I am still learning!  

School

So with college and what not coming up really soon im trying to decide on where to go. The only thing that has ever really caught my attention that I can pursue in school is graphic design ( working on programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Cinema 4D ). There are various schools that offer that program really good which would have to be schools like the Los Angeles Film School ( Full Sail University ), The Art Institute, Ivybridge, Waldenu, and what not. Im just going to have to see what ima do.

SOTY

With Thrasher Magazine's Skater of the year award coming up and the Pretty Sweet video that just released, I casted my vote at who I believe should be skater of the year. That's right Guy Mariano got my vote with his part in Pretty Sweet. I mean its not everyday you see someone throw down a switch tre over crook on a handrail! To me it was a pretty close call with Guy Mariano and Figgy since Figgy had a pretty gnarly part in Bake and Destroy. But Guy Mariano overall deserves it with the amount of time and filming put into his part, im hoping to see him win this years Skater of the Year!

Watched Pretty Sweet today!

So today I finally watched the Pretty Sweet video! The years that the Girl and Chocolate team put into filming the video and the year I waited for the video was 100% worth it! Everyone in the video had tremendous parts. Also the editing that was done was simply amazing and the music choices were really good. I have to give it to both Sean Malto and Raven Tershy for having my two favorite video parts in it. I dont think another skate video is going to top "Pretty Sweet" for a good while. Go out buy and watch it!

Black Friday

Anyone who does or has done any black Friday shopping knows just how hectic it can get. Last Friday was actually my first time actually dedicating some of my time to get some product on Black Friday. The store I decided to hit this year was Primitive over in Encino, CA. I decided to head over there and make line at around 9:30 P.M Thursday night, thinking I was super early I was expecting to only see about 30 people in line already. I was wrong and surprised to see the line stretch around the block. Luckily I still ended up getting some product in the morning. Next year i'll be more prepared on how to approach Black Friday.

Bake and Destroy Riot!

So a while back the Baker crew was going to premiere their Bake and Destroy video down in Hollywood. After a year of filming for it and with the main premiere going down in Hollywood, what I expected to happen really did happen.. Once it hit 9:30 the doors opened up for the crowd waiting to watch the video and the kids went crazy and rushed to the doors. The doors were then closed off and before it I knew it, yup a riot started. Police closed off the streets as helicopters swarmed around. The riot lasted a while until I simply decided to leave knowing I wasnt going to get a chance to watch the Bake and Destroy video. Heres a look at how the riot looked.

So with the Pretty Sweet video premiering here in Los Angeles last week, the official DVD release is nearing! Is anyone as stoked as I am for the video?
